The project aims at contributing to a harmonized approach in Nepal for systematic process of determining the type of damage, the extent of loss and impact suffered by community during April 25, 2015 Gorkha Earthquake and the subsequent aftershocks.
The specific objective to achieve the above goal was to:
- Prepare inventory of all buildings in Lalitpur sub-metropolitan city.
- Conduct damage assessment for all buildings as inventory made for these municipalities.
- Assess and collect building information in selected municipalities as defined on scope of work.
- Prepare details database of each building in GIS form.
